Dahl Video is owned and operated by Steve Dahl. I've been a professional videographer since 1998.

I offer custom video packages for weddings and civil unions, bar and bat mitzvahs, parties, corporate training, biographical life stories, and events.

I have a background in storytelling, fine art, and video/film. I earned a BA in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin, where I also studied creative writing, painting, and art history (www.wisc.edu). At 9-1-1 Media Arts Center in Seattle, Washington, I completed all film and video coursework, including audio, lighting, editing, storyboarding, and documentary filmmaking workshops, taught by industry professionals (www.911media.org). I have worked at McGraw-Hill (publishing) in New York City, and Adobe Systems (photo/video software) and Prolumina (video production) in Seattle, before starting my own company.

My wife, Kristine, and I moved to Rhode Island in 2006, so she could teach at the University of Rhode Island. Since then, we've had a daughter and a son, and have made our home in Kingston.
